Obviously "inspired" by Katamari Damacy and Ico, the Maw is quite disappointing.1) TOO SCRIPTED.Everything you do has nice funny animations, but is too scripted. Quite often the funny interactions are very passive - you're being dragged, something happens without your intervention in a cut-scene, etc. It feels like a movie, not like a game.2) LAME SCALE.The game doesn't scale well. The maw grows gradually to the size of a giraffe - it took me 5 hours of tedious eating to get to that size in a linear fashion. And then... at the end of the level he suddenly grows from the size of a giraffe to the size of a planet eating blob. They didn't do the intermediate part - which games like Pudding Monsters, Katamari Damacy, Heat Signrature or even Beyond Good and Evil (at its very end) do.3) UGLY.Even though the game is done by people who understand expressive animation very well, it's very ugly in an environmental sense (this also applies to their next creation, Explosion Man). I usually don't care about graphics, so something has to be very ugly to make me say this.4) BAD PORT.The game is so badly ported on the PC, that the mouse doesn't move the camera. Fortunately, I had a gamepad, and the camera controls worked that way.DISCLAIMER: I didn't play through the final level, because I have ethical problems with eating a planet just to save my♥♥♥♥♥. The second of the series and it is fun, I'd say a little better as there seems to be more flushed out. Great to come back to as it is in real time so you can just check back every now and then. A Great game for killl\/passing time.. all the towns are pink now :D 10/10EDIT : NO ACHIVIMENTS OR CARDS ? 0/10. An okay poker simulator with a flimsy story and some town management. The problem is the extraneous stuff gets in the way of the poker without adding anything. There are better options if you want to play poker.. i started on hd see this on steam though id try a earlyer 1 not a good idea this feels horrid, floaty and tracks just arnt fun. If you like puzzle games, this is a pretty good one. My only complaint is that there are not enough maps. Although there are player made maps, it just isn't the same..
